Dangling URLs

Wat zijn dangling URLs? En wat kan ik hiermee?

When a URL translation is removed, its URLs are converted to dangling URLs. Dangling URLs point to the homepage of your website via a 302 redirect. This prevents visitors (and bots) from getting a 404 error message from such a URL.

You can easily convert dangling URLs to new URL translations or link them to existing URL translations. If you are sure that the URL will no longer be visited or don't mind visitors getting a 404 message for that URL, you can also remove it permanently.
