Clonable Preview
When you create a new clone with Clonable, a preview clone will always be created.
This allows you to view a translated version of your website without any DNS settings or server configuration.
To prevent abuse of our platform, a preview access screen is always displayed (as long as you have not yet verified ownership of the site).
Access to the preview
Having access to the preview on one device, does not mean that you automatically have access on all other devices.
You must therefore grant access again for each device and each browser.
To ensure that the creators of the clone can view and test their preview, access is granted in various ways. The user who created the clone always has access based on their IP address.
To give others access to the preview, you can share the preview access code.
This code can be found in the dashboard. For example, navigate to the setup of a clone, and there you will see:
Once you have copied the code, you can share it with the people you want to give access.
When the code is entered in the preview access screen, it is checked to see if it is correct and then access is granted.
