The Multi Currency module lets you determine which currency is used on each clone.
Clonable does not perform any currency conversion itself and does not manage exchange rates. For that, Clonable relies on existing WooCommerce multi-currency plugins.
The Clonable plugin only provides a simple way to link currencies to clones.
Clonable does not perform currency conversions. Exchange rates, price calculations and currency switching are handled entirely by the multi-currency plugin you use.

Selecting a plugin
Select the multi-currency plugin that is active on your webshop.
The Clonable plugin uses this setting to retrieve the available currencies and assign them to clones.
Install and configure the chosen multi-currency plugin first, before you use these settings. When the plugin is not set up correctly, no currencies can be linked to clones.
Setting a currency per clone
At the bottom of the page you will find an overview of all available clones.
For each clone you can select a specific currency.

When a visitor visits a clone, the currency configured for that clone is used automatically.
How does this work?
Suppose your webshop is active in several countries:

The settings on this page let you determine which currency is used by default on each clone.
The selected multi-currency plugin then takes care of:
- price conversions;
- exchange rates;
- currency display;
- checkout amounts.

Does Clonable convert prices into other currencies?
No.
Clonable only provides the link between clones and currencies.
All price calculations are performed by the chosen multi-currency plugin.
Can I use different currencies per clone?
Yes.
Every clone can have its own default currency.
Which multi-currency plugin should I choose?
Clonable supports both CURCY and Aelia.
Choose the plugin that best suits the needs of your webshop.
What happens if I don't use a multi-currency plugin?
In that case the settings on this page have no effect.
A supported WooCommerce multi-currency plugin is required for multi-currency functionality.
